Desktop scanner: The DocuWare Scan App accesses the scanner driver and controls the scan with settings such as contrast, resolution, and orientation. The Scan App stores the scanned document in the relevant user's default basket or in a file cabinet that is stored in the relevant import configuration. DocuWare Import can also import scanned documents from a monitored folder.
Network scanner: Several employees can scan into a network folder from a multifunction printer. This folder is monitored by the DocuWare Import App. The Import App loads incoming documents into a basket or directly into a file cabinet. The import is controlled using configurations in which the scanned documents are indexed and signed electronically, among other things.
Connector modules: Devices by Sharp with OSA extension, or devices by Toshiba with e-BRIDGE OpenPlatform, as well as identically constructed devices by OKI have their own connect-to modules. You can easily create configurations for storage and for searching DocuWare file cabinets using the wizard function. You can find further information in the DocuWare Knowledge Center in the "DocuWare MFP Connectors" section.
